Ranidaphobia: Mental Health Week

Mental Health Week, Fall Semester (Graphic Design 2) 2018 Created a unique and experimental typeface to illustrate the name of the phobia. The typeface had to reflect and connect the phobia in certain ways. Fear of frogs mostly relate to the texture or the sliminess of its skin, therefore I created an illustrated texture throughout some of the typefaces to add contrast to those that didn't have the texture. Other forms of design were made to further depict the fear, such as the frog tongue stretching out to catch the fly and lily pads..etc. The purpose of making this poster not in a gruesome way is so that people who actually have such fear can read them without cringing. I want to encourage them a little to overcome the fear of frog by simply being able to read through the poster.
